FlowMail privacy policy

FlowMail is a Windows desktop application that generates messages from your templates and spreadsheets and can upload the resulting workbook to a Google Drive folder you select. This policy describes the current desktop application.

Information FlowMail uses

Your template text, spreadsheet data, mapping, and generated output are processed on your computer.
If you connect Google Drive, FlowMail receives your Google account email address and OAuth tokens. It reads Drive folder names and metadata to show a folder picker and confirm that a selected folder is available.
When you select Generate & Upload, FlowMail uploads the generated workbook to the saved folder in your Google Drive and checks that the upload succeeded.

Storage and sharing

Templates, settings, selected Drive folder ID and path, and job history are stored locally in FlowMail's per-user application data. Generated workbooks are saved locally in your Documents/FlowMail folder. Google OAuth tokens are encrypted using Windows-backed Electron secure storage; FlowMail does not store your Google password.

FlowMail communicates with Google for sign-in, folder browsing, and the upload you initiate. The desktop application has no FlowMail server for uploading your spreadsheet, templates, or generated messages. Your use of Google Drive is also governed by Google's policies.

Control and deletion

You can disconnect Google Drive in FlowMail Settings; this deletes the locally stored OAuth session and selected destination without deleting files from your Drive. You can clear job history in Settings. You can remove locally saved output files and application data from your computer. You can revoke FlowMail's access from your Google Account settings.
